Zura Kazishvili

Zura Kazishvili- Personal practice from 2002. Teaching from 2012.
After years of practice, both personal and as a teacher, a new, unique system was created, combining the best parts of several different types of yoga. The style is based primarily on hatha yoga, but it contains elements of Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Kundalini yoga.
Yoga Mix – The practice begins with a thorough warm up, during which the body is prepared for more intense exercise, muscles, joints and tendons are all warmed up. Respiratory and cardiovascular systems are activated.
After the warm up, we go to the main part of the practice, where there are evenly distributed:
● Static and dynamic exercises
● Strength and flexibility based postures of various difficulty
● Kriyas and breathing exercises of differing intensity and purpose
The main part of the lesson is a system comprised of several “series”, which gives inner organs a deep massage, exercises all joints and 630 different muscles.
Here there are static and dynamic, flexibility and strength exercises.
After the main part, there is a short version of Sudarshan Kriya. This breathing exercise helps with recovery, cleanses energetic channels, activates and charges chakras.
The lesson concludes with Savasana. A yogic method of deep relaxation, during which the signals created during exercise are converted into a working program and quick changes begin in the body.
The full duration of the lesson in 75 min..
Other practices:
Pranayama – Yogic breathing techniques of different intensity and purpose. Used for relaxation, recovery, energy boosting, therapeutic, prophylactic and detox purposes. Duration – 30-60 min.

Connective breathwork – Highly effective, energetic breathing techniques, during which the body is charged with energy, activation of recovery processes, cleansing of suppressed emotions and mental programs. Causes a strong sense of euphoria and catharsis. Used for health and as a method of self-realization. Duration – 60 min.

Passive stretching and massage – a combination of passive stretching and massage is used as a therapeutic method for those, who are bothered by stiff joints, spinal problems and other forms of muscoskeletal problems. Yoga massage supports blood and lymph flow. Other than therapeutic purposes, this method is also good for flexibility, so it is equally useful for people of all ages and professions. Duartion 20-40 min
